The Message (MSG)

Like Project of Love, this Psalm is a joyful ode to God's Word and its Author.

In a sense, the Psalms were the first Project of Love :)

I've taken a small part of this Psalm of the Message Translation. When I read this I felt the Holy Spirit jumping up and down on the inside..well, we were both jumping, actually :)

This Psalm has become my life. I mean literally. The power of God's Word you can see today in my life. It's not just words on paper. These words prophecy, testify, still, today!

Let me show you what I mean:

'By your words I can see where I'm going, they throw a beam of light on my dark path.'

'I've committed myself and I'll never turn back, from living by Your rightious order'.

'Put me together again, with Your words, teach me Your holy rules.'

'Every word You give me is a miracle word, break open Your words let the Light shine out.'

I've come a long way. In just 4 years. From severe depression, a suicidal lifestyle, many addictions, to the man I am today. And sure, I put in the work. But it's really all His doing.

I can't begin to tell you what the Bible means to me. His words literally change(d) me from the inside out. And I still need it, every single day. They are a beam of light on my dark path. I've commited myself and I'll never turn back. His word makes me whole.

I wish for every one to read the Bible like this. Not just words on paper, but God's breath on your life. Find a translation that clicks with you, invite the Holy Spirit to join you, and be transformed! 🔥🙌🌱
