Luke 6 - Running Over
32. “But if you love those who love you,
what credit is that to you?
For even sinners love those who love them.
33. And if you do good to those who do good to you,
what credit is that to you?
For even sinners do the same.
35. But love your enemies, do good
and your reward will be great,
and you'll be sons of the Most High.
For He is kind
37. “Judge not, and you shall not be judged.
Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38. Give, and it will be given to you:
Good measure, pressed down, shaken together,
and running over
will they put into your bosom.
For with the same measure that you use,
it will be measured back to you.

'They' (will they put into your bosom) from interlinear bible, original Greek.
To love someone doesn't mean you first have to agree with them or vice versa.
To live in unity doesn't mean you have to think alike or be the same. That's uniformity, not unity. Unity means, I can love you in spite of our differences.
Here in Luke 6: 32 Jesus says if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? (Credit = grace in Greek).
To live the love of God is to love your enemies. Your enemies. Let that sink in for a minute..
Since we started this Project of Love we've received a lot of hatemail, from and only from Christians. It took me a while to recover from that. When I gave my life to Papa 4.5 years ago, I expected to be welcomed into this loving family, the people of salt and light. The people of unconditional love. Yeah, I know..that's pretty naive, some people will say, but is it?
You see, God loved us WHILE we were yet sinners. God didn't wait for us to become holy first and then loved us.
Jesus gave His life for the world, WHILE we were all sinners. He even forgave them WHILE hanging on the cross. People who mocked Him, offended Him, tortured Him. Can you see yourself doing that?
These days it seems everybody is offended all the time. And Christians are no acception to this. A spirit of offense is gaining influence, rapidly.
To counter or change this, is not to join the choir of voices and start shouting your opinion. It's to let the Holy Spirit flow through EVERY aspect of your life. Let the fruit of the Spirit do the talking for you. THAT will speak louder than a thousand words.
Jesus wanted for the world to recognize us by our love and unity. (John 17: 22, 23)
If we can't even do that, what business do we have telling everybody else how they should live?
Jesus didn't barge in to a brothel and began shouting "repent repent !".. He had fellowship with them, ate and drank with them, he healed them and in His walk these people changed. They saw Him doing good, they wanted to be like Him, do what He did.
He actually practiced what He preached.
So be kind, be generous, be forgiving, give and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over! 🙌❤️
