In Luke 3:22, Jesus gets baptised by John and the heavens rip open and the Holy Spirit descends in the form of a dove and rests on Jesus. And His Father says: You are my Son, I love you very much..You're the pride of my life!

I was moved when I read this. What a moment this must have been for all parties involved, wow..

And I'm not sure how, anymore, but while reading this the Spirit led me to John 17. There we find Jesus praying, it's the greatest prayer in the Bible. But to me, when I read it, it felt like I was eavesdropping on a very intimate moment between Jesus and His Father.

And I felt overwhelmed and so excited, I mean..somebody actually recorded this epic moment in history. Jesus talking with His Father, about us! Are you kidding me??

And do you know what He says?

‭John 17:21-23 NLT‬

"I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me."

[22] “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.

[23] I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me."

God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, loves YOU, as much as He loves Jesus (!!)

If that doesn't take your breath away..

And there's more, He's given us the glory He gave Jesus. So that we could be ONE. And have such perfect unity that the world will know that He sent Jesus.

Now, with this knowledge, read again Luke 3:22

God says to you: You are my son, my daughter, and I love you very much, you're the pride of my life ❤️

Let it sink in, believe it. If this doesn't transform you into a grateful, kind, loving, forgiving human being, then I dare say, you didn't get it, yet.
