New Living Translation (NLT)

Oh man, where to start? I have so many things I wanna say about this scripture.

First off, it involves two of my favourite characters in the Bible. John the Apostle and John the Baptist. Or as another translation calls him: John the Baptizer. Which makes him sound a bit like a super-hero in my mind..what's that in the sky, mama? Why, it's John the Baptizer!

Anyway, I'm rambling..

I love John the Baptist for so many reasons, but one of the things I love most about him..he's like a signpost. His whole life is about somebody else, namely Jesus. Can you imagine? I mean, in an age where everything revolves around us, our egos. Our opinions, our right to say whatever we feel like saying, do whatever we feel like doing.

Our social media is plastered with photos and videos about us.

Not this guy. His whole life is about Jesus.

And then one day, he sees Jesus walking and he exclaims: Look! The lamb of God! Who takes away the sin of the world. He is the One! He is the One! It's all about Him. You guys, why are you following me? HE is the one you should follow!

Man, I think that's amazing. I love him for that.

And that's one of the reasons Project of Love is all about. To point to Jesus. He's the one.

I know a lot of you feel I should star more often in the videos or post more personal content. And maybe you're right. But these songs are not about me.

They point to Him and say:
