Isaiah 13 - Raise A Signal Flag
2. “Raise a signal flag on a bare hilltop.
Call up an army against Babylon.
Wave your hand to encourage them
as they march into the palaces of the high and mighty.
3. I, the Lord, have dedicated these soldiers for this task.
Yes, I have called mighty warriors to express my anger,
and they will rejoice when I am exalted.”
4. Hear the noise on the mountains!
(..) as the vast armies march!
It is the noise and shouting of many nations.

I remember reading this verse, I strongly felt the Lord was asking me: are you ready to stand up against the powers of Babylon, the powers of darkness?
Of course I was! If it were up to me, I'd be leading the freaking army! ;)
In many respects I'm much like Peter..of course I'll join you on the water! Wait..are we actually walking on water..?!
But I realised, this song is really an ancient 'protest-song'. That still applies..
The song demands you to make a choice: are you willing to stand up and speak out against injustice, hate, poverty, racism, bigotry and war in the name of Love?
Then "wave your hand to encourage them!"
