No pain is wasted.

In Romans 8:28 God promises that He "causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God." (NLT)

Let me start off by saying this:

Yes, in this life we most likely will experience suffering and sickness. Sometimes through our own fault, cause we choose to walk in the rain rather than walk under God's umbrella of blessing (I was one of them).

And sometimes through no fault of our own.

But I believe that God does not give or bring sickness in your life. If you believe God gives you cancer to correct a character-flaw or teach you a lesson, then you need to seriously adjust your image of Him.

I believe God does not want us to suffer. I believe God does not bring curses into our lives.

How do I know that? First off, it seems odd to me that people ask me to prove that.

To know God, is to know God's heart.

God is a good Father. Jesus said, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father. Jesus never made anybody sick. Never. Quite the opposite.

Acts 10:38 says 'He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil'.

If you want somebody to blame, there's your answer right there, the devil.

No, not the guy in a red jumpsuit and pitchfork, but the anti-God. A liar, cheater, thief, killer and destroyer of lives.

Look at God's blueprint, God's will for this world, the Garden of Eden.There was life in abundance, no sickness, no suffering.

Deut 30:19 says, 'today I've given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses, (..) Oh, that you would choose life!'

That's God's desire, to bless you!

But God's promise to those who love Him is that He will cause ALL things to work together for good. No pain is wasted.

God is like this brilliant chef cook: He uses all the ingredients of your life, the bitter and sweet, and turns them into an amazing dish!
