Romans 5 - The Messiah

2. Out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory
We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand
[We're] standing tall and shouting our praise.

1. We throw open our doors to God
and discover at the same moment
that he has already thrown open his door to us.

11. We sing and shout our praises to God
through Jesus, the Messiah!

The Message Translation (MSG)
[We're] Italics by author

With all that's going on in the world, wars, floods, so much brokenness, maybe the last thing you feel like doing is singing.

And I get that. When we're feeling great, on top of the world, then singing comes naturally.

But I believe there's great power in singing when things seem hopeless.

When Paul was in prison, he sang and the prison shook! Many battles Israel fought, God told them to sing (!) and He would take care of the rest.

When you start praising God in the storm, in the trials and tribulations, it may be unnatural, but it's spiritual. You're acting not on what you see, but what you believe. It's faith.

I truly believe we could change so many things and win the hardest battles, yes even wars, if we would start singing, shouting and praising God.

It releases an awesome power and blessing and it shows the enemy we believe we have a God who's bigger than any problem.

This song is about that. 'We sing and shout our praises to God, through Jesus, the Messiah'.

Turn up the volume and proclaim it out loud! Let the darkness know the Light is unstoppable, unshakeable.

This is the Word of God you're singing. We have numerous testimonies to back up the fact that God's word is still very much alive and ever powerful!

Grab a Project of Love playlist, turn it up and belt it out!

Sing for the people that can't sing, in the floods and storms, in the wars, in the prisons, still out there in the darkness. The name of Jesus was meant to be sung!
