Isaiah 43 - Part 2 A New Thing
16. I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters,
making a dry path through the sea.
18. “But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
19. For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
20. Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland
so my chosen people can be refreshed.
25. “I — yes, I alone —will blot out your sins for my own sake.
and will never think of them again.

We've been anxiously waiting to release Isaiah 43 Part 2!
Like I said, I LOVE the book of Isaiah. It's mindblowing! When I was writing these verses to song, sometimes I woke up, startled, in the middle of the night, thinking I had been writing the Gospels (New Testament) to song. 'Cause Isaiah is SO New Testament in a lot of ways and still so alive and relevant to this day.
Last week in Part 1 I (we) had the pleasure to express God's love for us. You should listen that one over and over till you REALLY believe it ;)
Today Part 2, verses 18, 19 and 25 where God says, forget the past, forget all the great wonders I did: I'm gonna do a NEW thing!
Now, God is ALWAYS doing a new thing. He's always creating and the biggest Artist of all artists. When He speaks: things change, things come to life. He speaks things into being. When He so much as breathes, things change!
But here, about 700 years (some say 400) before Jesus arrived (that's like saying somewhere in the year 1300 that something specifically is going to happen in the year 2000 (do you get that?!!) God is announcing the arrival of Jesus. AND release His Holy Spirit unto the dry lands!!
Now, we have that same amazing Holy Spirit.
Expect God to do a new thing in your life!
Don't just use these songs to memorize Scripture, but actively declare them over your life, family, friends and even enemies. These are God's words. They have the power to change, to heal, to create! And remember, blessings are meant to be shared! BE that river in a dry land 🙌🔥😊
